This article could be better
[edit]I've spent much time in the last two years to make the german article better, before it was just a mess like the english one still is. Please have a look at it and decide if it makes sense to synchronize both articles. Google translation 84.58.241.183 (talk) 10:47, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
Release dates / details
[edit]Who besides Cubase's product manager cares about the release dates and features? That info can be maintained on the company website if anyone cares. The Dissident Aggressor 15:26, 20 May 2015 (UTC)
You can enhance the quality of the article by trimming the non-milestone releases that would add nothing significant for a theoretical future researcher, for example, who would be researching the history of MIDI software in the 1990s. We need to think "future" and the fact that Wikipedia is our collective repository of knowledge. It's not just about documenting things for the now or in simple ways for the common man with no interest on a subject. Wikipedia is for centuries in the future and for pre-internet events it is already the only record most people have access to. But indeed we probably don't need to have article filled with trivia and nerdy details, and useless service pack release dates. Is the answer to that just deleting all of people's work without trying to fix it, and telling the community to "try again", I don't think that it is. I think we should err on the side of caution and I have a lot of respect for our editor's passion on the subject. Better to have too much information than none. Missing platform?
[edit]from Google, it seem that there is a port of cubase for the Atari ST.
Should we add it to the platform list? זיו קראוס (talk) 22:04, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
no source for paul mccartney using cubase
[edit]well there is a source but in the source listed, nothing talks about him using cubase. maybe we should remove paul mccartney from the list of people that use it Mentalilln (talk) 13:22, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
